Trying to define what is an isn't ska these days has become a near impossible task. Take The Agency from Barrie for instance. Their album title alludes to the ska dance craze and they do indeed employ upstrokes and horns in their music...but past that they will rock your ass as hard as most punk rock bands do. This is a band for fans of Less Than Jake and Mustard Plug but not so much for fans of a more traditional sound ala The Slackers.

The album packs in 14 songs and leaves no stone unturned. There is something on this album for everyone. For those who like their music fast and loud check out tracks like Burnout, Shot In The Dark, Alive.

And for those who like to pick up their heels good luck trying to keep up with the frantic pace of tunes like Pick It Up, Fallon's Dead, and Blown Away.
