OK, I'm stuck with visions of HIM if he joined a ska/rock outfit but really its not as good as that sounds in my mind. It also has some EMO like moments that just make me cringe BUT they must be a ska band since they have horns!
Allright, I'll try to serious now. The tracks near the start of the disc bode well but somewhere in the middle the sound starts to repeat, lag and wane. Valley of the Kings is a brief respite but then its back to the same old sound again. This is somewhat good material BUT outside of the second track Untitled, its quite unremarkable. The production is nice(what a great sounding trumpet!) and I like the gear changes in Crystal, Green and Gold. I'd also like it if the vocalist just let'er rip more often. He comes across like he's capable of it but he's just holding back too much for my liking.
So if they start to emphasize what I dig on some of the tracks, Razbari could be onto Sumthing sweet. For now though its hit and miss or sumthing like that.
