I wasn't surprised to see all the members of Frankie Foo dressed up to play their Halloween show. These guys really like to have fun, and it showed even more so on this night. I'm jealous with how easy they make it look, as they are one of, if not the best, Toronto ska band right now. I highly recommend making the effort to go see these guys. It is free, and always, always a good time.

This was a very punk-influenced bill. Keepin' 6 got the crowd moving right off the bat, and I don't think they stopped after that. I wouldn't be surprised that everyone of their fans not only showed up to The Johnstones' cd release show, but showed up to this one as well. With pointing the mic in the direction of the crowd, Keepin' 6 really tries to make sure everyone is having a good time, and singing along. It is really nice to see by them.

This was my first time seeing Hostage Life. They were pretty good to be honest. Not something I'd normally listen to, but I was grooving to it. These guys are getting pretty big, with opening for Rancid, and playing on pretty much every big "punk" bill in the area.

Seeing The Flatliners only 3 months ago, thier newer songs were still somewhat fresh in my mind. This was their first headlining show in Toronto in awhile. I guess being fortunate enough to tour all over can do that to you. As you can see from the pictures, everyone there was right into them. It is no surprise either, The Flatliners are extremely talented, and have put together a great show from playing a crazy amount of shows over the past few years.
